Gus`s Restaurant in Sudbury

Excellent place for a good old fashioned home cooked meal, staff are excellent. Only thing i could recommend is time to in-large tables for us manly guys

The service was awesome but for a burger mushroom melt. ? I hade 4 small slices of mushrooms. I could barely see the cheese and didn't notice any onions which were all supposed to be on this burger. Very poor toppings . please tell the cook or owner . and please change that ugly worn out 1930's carpet.

A truly wonderful place.

Service was good, food was good, they aren't very big portions but they're a regular portion. They're big enough to make sure your full but not too much where you're wasting. We will return again..

The beef sandwich was a greenish beef piece serve in a walmart cheepest white bread, Disgusting !

This is a diner and it serves good diner food. Our breakfast meal was good. The French toast did have a slight onion flavour (assumed due to the shared grill). Sausage panel and eggs were all enjoyed buy our group. Will return for the lunch menu next.

Nothing special. Powder gravy, frozen vegetables, not much choice of sides. Blame the Uber driver for it being cold.

Nice place for a meal

I have been a customer for over 35 years and have seen three sets of owners run this fine little diner. Great food, great service, ample parking.

Always a pleasure coming to Gus'. We don't visit often but when we do we thoroughly enjoy it. The young stunning Greek lady who serves us each time is always so kind and friendly. She makes the place even more inviting.

Started coming here 24 years ago and I love how they change the place as little as possible, it's great nostalgia.

Friendly service was good and fast. We ordered the breakfast special: 2eggs bacon potatoes toast and beans everything was very good The server was very friendly we well return for sure.

Five of us went to Gus's for lunch. Was about $90.00 with tax and tip, 3 deserts. I had the spanakopdia which was the best I've ever had. I would have liked a little more dressing on my greek salad and smaller pieces of lettuce but generally it was very good. Two of our party had fish and chips and two had gyros. The fries could have been better but the gyros and fish were great. The baklava for desert was fabulous. The atmosphere is very casual and pleasant. The staff are very friendly and eager to please. Will go there again when in Sudbury.

Very good food. Decent prices. But not the same since new owners took over a little while back. New staff. Not the same. Very beautiful and kind waitress gave us the bill, we arrived at the cash and the cashier and he tacked on 3 dollars. When inquired, he said that was the tax. When the tax was already on the bill. This disapointed me very much, never was like that before.

I love the 1950s vibe that comes with going to Gus's... The food is pretty good too and the waitresses are always so friendly and make you feel welcome... Great place and will visit again!

My favourite breakfast joint in Sudbury. The food is fast and great. The service is Super friendly. And their daily specials are well above what I generally expect from a casual place.

Decent food. Poor customer service. I guess there is not much competition in the area so they can get away with it.

The style and atmosphere of Gus's restaurant made me and all my friends feel like we were part of the community I highly recommend this restaurant and the cuisine to everyone Only wish I could get there more often

I tried this run down establishment in 2 different occasions, but unfortunately their meats and vegetables are Freezer burned and food quality is very poor, I definitely wouldn't recommend, doesn't deserve a *

Hands down the best place in town to get that classic Canadiana greasy spoon all day breakfast for a great price. Feels like home!

Typical diner fare. A few Greek dishes as well. Service is excellent. We go here for breakfast regularly. Not open Sundays though, and the hours are generally terrible. Once showed up at 7:00pm on a Saturday night and was told that the kitchen was closed.

We always get a good meal and efficient service here. Good variety of food and great prices on breakfast. It's also nice that we can walk here.

The staff and crew are all amazing and patient and they make you feel like family on every visit. It really is great and the food is super delicious there. A few movies scenes have been filmed there too.

Terrible food especially the lasagna. Service was good but ultimately the food is what makes or breaks a place

Not sure how this place got a high review. Just wanted breakfast, no menu, ordered western omelette and it was just eggs with onions lol and my bf didn't want toast or hashbrowns with his breakfast, but asked for some vegetables and they said it would cost a dollar more, got 4 slices of cucumber. Spent $30 and were both still hungry.
